At YOUKNOW Clothing, we know we are nothing without our community. Every piece we’ve created, every step we’ve taken, has been possible because of the love and support we’ve received from you — our whānau. And now, it’s time to give back.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce the YOUKNOW Foundation — a platform dedicated to supporting the very people who’ve uplifted us.
Why We’re Doing This
"What’s the point of building this business, of having this platform, if we can’t give back to the people who helped get us here?"
This foundation is more than a charity — it's a movement of reciprocity, connection, and care. Through the YOUKNOW Foundation, we aim to uplift our community, one kaupapa at a time.
Our First Mission:
Tackling the Cost of School Uniforms
For many whānau across Aotearoa, the cost of school uniforms is a genuine struggle. We know this story — many of us have lived it. Parents doing their absolute best, making sure there's food on the table and the bills are paid… but uniforms? They often come last.
We believe no tamariki should go to school feeling less than, lacking confidence, or standing out because of what they can’t afford. Every child deserves to feel equal the moment they walk through those school gates.
For our first initiative, the YOUKNOW Foundation will be fully funding school uniforms for one kura in Aotearoa. This is just the beginning, and we hope to grow from here — one kaupapa at a time.
We can’t help everyone — not yet. But we’re here, and we care. And with your help, we believe we can create real change for our tamariki and their futures.
